Our Mission
Friends of Penn Wynne Village is a locally led community organization that enhances quality of life for Penn Wynne residents by cultivating a vibrant Manoa Road business district. We do this by fostering dialogue between residents, local organizations, and business owners. We work collaboratively to increase connectivity and walkability, organize community events, and beautify the streetscape to promote and maintain a welcoming, active village center.
Our Goals for 2026-2027
Initiate Penn Wynne Day event in the community
Work closely with the Penn Wynne Civic Association to execute the Summer Hummer concert
Build relationships with business owners, residents, and neighborhood organizations
Support the creation of a Penn Wynne Village Business Association
Help make streetscape improvements on Manoa Road
Implement banners or other placemaking signs on Manoa Road
