Welcome to an Intergovernmental Meeting between representatives from the Lower Merion Board of School Directors, Lower Merion Township Commissioners and Narberth Borough Council.
Due to Governor Wolf's mandates, this meeting is being made public via Zoom using the following link and password which will be posted to the agenda prior to the start of the meeting.
Public comment (on agenda topics only) will be taken in advance of the meeting to the following email account: boardpubliccomment@lmsd.org every consideration will be given to read the comments but can not be guaranteed. Public comments not read will be posted to the Agenda the following day. No live comments will be taken and all participants will be muted. A. Introduction and COVID-19 Update
B. Start Time Change: 1) Update from LMSD; 2) Lights on Arnold Field (will include discussion on collaboration with the LM Police and LMSD Administration.
C. Township Amenities/Safety: 1) Township's Plan to build additional playing fields for community and discuss if Township will add lights to existing/new fields to support club athletics; 2) Status of Township-constructed sidewalks in the neighborhoods of new Middle School, WVMS and PVES; 3) Improving safety of Montgomery Ave. around LMHS and commercial area shared by LM Township and Narberth between Old Gulph Road and Meeting House Lane; a. Discuss reducing the speed limit from current 35 mph to 25 mph.
D. Enrollment Growth: 1) Extending the modulars at PWES; 2) PWES Land Development Application Updates; 3) Update on bus parking includes the former St. Justin's site; 4) New Middle School Update: Discuss Township receiving and relocating structures currently located on 1835 County Line Road and 1800 Montgomery Ave.
